So these last few days, I’ve been going out with some friends after DDR practice and into the night, just having fun and whatnot. Sometimes we drank, others we played board games, ate a shit ton of food, talk shit, overall have a great time you know?

“Round 1” was just dranks. Round 2 was board games and dranks. Round 3 was 80 McNuggets and Aladdin.

Today was “Round 4”.

It wasn’t supposed to be anything crazy, just get some boba, talk about life, chill time after the ridiculous stressful practices and such.

But then, some friends called and said they found a kitten in a bush. They couldn’t take care of it because they already had a dog and it was already so much work, so they gave it to us for the night.

WE WENT ON A HUGE ADVENTURE THEN. FIRST WE SCAVENGED SAFEWAY TRYING TO FIND STUFF TO FEED THE KITTEN BUT WE COULDN’T FIND ANYTHING.

THEN WE CALLED A 24 HOUR HOTLINE TO SEE WHAT WE COULD DO. THEY TOLD US TO TO BRING IT TO THE ER/RECEPTION DESK ON CAMPUS. SO WE WENT OVER AND SPENT LIKE 10 MINUTES IN THE FREAKING HOWLING DAVIS HURRICANE LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT BUILDING.

Then we found the right building and they gave us some milk and a bottle. We had to feed the kitty and try to make it go pee pee by rubbing its belly. We fed the kitty at our friend’s place, but we couldn’t make it go pee for some reason. Either way, I’m kinda glad that it didn’t because it’d be all over my hand since I was holding here for the majority of the time. But we all went home afterwards. We ended up naming the kitty Minnie since it’s a girl and it’s small/mini and Minnie Mouse and such.

SHE LOOKS SO SICK…BUT SO CUTEEEEEE. I DIEEEEE.

Okay story/adventure over. Back to catching up and homework

Wonders in the Morning.

I always wondered what it was like to get ear piercings or a tattoo, something that just makes me stand out you know? Of course, everyone’s unique in the world, but at the same time, people are just ordinary.

Makes you wonder how life’s full of contradictions and complications.

So I started playing League of Legends little less than two months ago, a bunch of friends were playing together in the same room and I was off doing some stats homework. Most people know that I’m not a huge fan towards real time strategy games, I’m more of a adventure/FPS person. I could say I’m probably the one Korean that doesn’t play Starcraft either (yet lol) but anyways, back to League.

Main reason I didn’t want to play League was because it’s so time consuming. A normal match would take between 30-50 minutes, depending on the match ups. People would just play for days on end, not even go outside or socialize. I’ve heard people dropping out of classes and even college just to play League. Knowing me and my gaming phases, I would probably end up in a less hazardous version of that and just end up wasting time playing. But everyone looked like they were having fun, so…fuck it, why not try?

So yeah, I guess I gave in to peer pressure when I saw a bunch of friends playing. I downloaded it, played a few games, and was pretty meh with the overall experience. Then another friend said “you won’t get the full fun if you don’t get to level 30”. So again, I went back, played till I got to level 30 and dropped some money on the game just to get a mini feel of it.

Overall evaluation? It’s still pretty meh. I mean, it’s a fun game and I can see why people are so addicted to the game, but the only drawback to the game is the constant negativity that surrounds the whole game. Players always just yell at people even if they suck themselves. Yeah, I know that trolling is all part of the game, but to see it everywhere in every game, it gets annoying as fuck. 

I’m not that good of a player myself (actually I’m pretty bad LOL), so I do get a lot of negative remarks while playing and that’s the one fault of the game. It’s just ridiculously annoying how much people rage over a simple game. Yeah, if a player sucks, I would probably call them out as well. But the constant harassing doesn’t help the other person get any better and less likely to turn around and try winning.

I guess that I really just don’t like playing with negative players. I only got into League just to play with friends, and that’s pretty much what I do now. I don’t go into rank gameplay because to be honest: Legaue’s pretty boring without other friends to play with. So fuck that haha. Most fun I’ve had in League was just in-house custom games where we all just screwed around and had fun.

I guess I’m just ranting about a dumb computer game, but meh. I guess I’m still not that huge of a fan of it, just play for the friends lol.

Maybe it’s just me…

but it’s always late at night when you get the most ridiculous but interesting ideas. Came up with a possible choreo/commando routine in the middle of night while “studying” for midterms and new concepts to try out for dance.

Now if only I didn’t have two midterms to actually study for…I’d be trying to work and t’work with them all night. First all nighter of the year haha. Ah well.

But seriously…Linguistics class being cancelled this whole week…sigh…this is definitely some sick joke. Oh the irony.
